Amgala Temple is een Noors trio bestaande uit bassist/keyboard-speler Lars Horntveth, gitarist Amund Maarud en drummer Gard Nillsen. Ze spelen/speelden o.a. al in formaties / bij artiesten als Todd Terje, Morudes, Susanne Sundfor, Jaga Jazzist, The Grand, A-ha, Acoustic Unity, Bushman's Revenge en The National Bank. Op ''Invisible Airships'' hoor je echter een geheel eigen sound; 'the result is an overwhelming, instrumental and radiant clash of spontaneity and control & improvisation and clairvoyce, venturing into new, epic and freeform sonic landscapes'. Met haar 'bold, experimental and imaginative music' zou je de sound van Amgala Temple kunnen omschrijven als een mix van groovy alternative rock, jazz fusion, progrock en krautrock.
