LIFE bestaat uit vier opgeschoten jongens uit de Engelse stad Hull. Ze maken opgefokte, snelle indierock en hun debuutalbum met de cynische titel ‘Popular Music’, waarbij de venijnige zang van Mez Green, die het geheel een punk-attitude meegeeft, vooral opvalt!
Popular Music bevat 11 songs die in 27 minuten voorbij komen! Mez zegt hier het volgende over: “The whole record sounds like panic and anxiety. It’s the sound of bricking it about what might happen next week, about what you can weigh through on the self checkout to get your beans cheaper. It's a record made up of the psyche of everyone who knows they’re being fucked but can’t work out what to do about it!”
