Voidfall is a space 4X board game that masterfully blends epic galactic conquest with the strategic depth of Euro-style gameplay. Set in the far future, it chronicles the rise and fall of the Domineum, a vast human empire ruled by the Novarchs of the House of Novarchon. Humanity thrived under their reign, spreading across the galaxy and founding new Great Houses to govern distant sectors. Yet the Novarchs’ power was fueled by the Voidborn, an ancient cosmic entity feeding on corruption. When its influence consumed the heart of the empire, devastation swept across the stars, leaving the Great Houses to reclaim control from spreading corruption. Players lead one of the remaining Great Houses, balancing military might, economic development, and technological advancement to restore order—or seize power for themselves. Over three cycles, new galactic events and shifting victory conditions challenge each game. Actions are managed via focus cards, enabling technological research, fleet expansion, sector management, and civilization track progression. Voidfall’s fully deterministic combat system eliminates dice or luck, rewarding careful planning and tactical foresight.
