Inspired by his older version from an alternative future, the teenager Barry Allen improvises while modifying and customizing one of Batman's costumes in a peculiar version of the scarlet speedster. Next to his other self from another world, more experienced and trained, he seeks help from a retired Dark Knight, inactive for years, to face a global threat in this reality. Barry then created a costume, built with the same silica-based quartz fabric used by NASA, with the symbol of a golden lightning on the chest. Using his powers, he became the hero defender of Central City known as the Flash. After the death of Superman, Barry was recruited to form the Justice League where he played a fundamental role in the resurrection of the Man of Steel and helped in the fight against the forces of General Steppenwolf from Apokolips. With the goal of proving the innocence of his father, Henry, wrongfully accused and sentenced by the murder of his mother Nora, Barry is hired by the forensic laboratory of the Central City Police Department, where he became a high qualified forensic scientist. Using the Speed Force, Barry discovers that he can travel time, change past events, thus stopping the murder of his mother.
