Amgala Temple is een Noors trio bestaande uit bassist/keyboard-speler Lars Horntveth, gitarist Amund Maarud en drummer Gard Nillsen. Ze spelen/speelden o.a. al in formaties / bij artiesten als Todd Terje, Morudes, Susanne Sundfor, Jaga Jazzist, The Grand, A-ha, Acoustic Unity, Bushman's Revenge en The National Bank. Op ''Invisible Airships'' hoor je echter een geheel eigen sound; 'the result is an overwhelming, instrumental and radiant clash of spontaneity and control & improvisation and clairvoyce, venturing into new, epic and freeform sonic landscapes'.
