The Wonder Of You: Elvis Presley With The Royal Philharmonic Orchestra is de opvolger van het fenomeen van vorig jaar: If I Can Dream: Elvis Presley With The Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, dat wereldwijd werd bekroond en waarvan meer dan 1,5 miljoen exemplaren zijn verkocht. Net zoals If I Can Dream, bevat The Wonder Of You zijn meest legendarische optredens aangevuld met weelderige arrangementen van The Royal Philharmonic Orchestra. Het album is opgenomen in de Abbey Road Studios in Londen met de befaamde producenten Don Reedman en Nick Patrick. Het album bestaat uit verschillende muziekstijlen waar Elvis erg van hield, van rock en gospel tot country en ballads, samen met geliefde Presley klassiekers en een aantal verrassingen. Opvallende tracks zijn onder andere nieuwe versies van “A Big Hunk O’ Love”, “Amazing Grace”, “Kentucky Rain”, een nieuwe kijk op de klassieker “Always On My Mind” en “I’ve Got A Think About You Baby”.
