Halsey - Hopeless Fountain Kingdom | CD

‘Hopeless fountain kingdom’ is het tweede album van zangeres Halsey, die in 2015 doorbrak met de hit ‘New Americana’ van haar debuutalbum ‘Badlands’. Haar naam werd definitief gevestigd door haar vocale bijdrage op de hit ‘Closer’ van The Chainsmokers.De inspiratie voor Halsey’s ‘hopeless fountain kingdom’ haalde ze uit de film ‘Romeo & Juliet’ van Baz Luhrmann, een moderne verfilming van het klassieke verhaal van Shakespeare.

"The video for ‘Now Or Never’ (my directorial debut!) is one part in the center of a long narrative that tells the story of two people in love despite the forces trying to keep them apart,” vertelt Halsey. “On its own the song is about two impatient young lovers, but in the context of the hopeless fountain kingdom universe, the stakes are much higher for these two star-crossed lovers."
